Ingredients for 2 Boulous


  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 sachets of baking powder
  • 2 sachets of vanilla sugar
  • 15 cl oil
  • 1/2 squeezed orange
  • a few drops of bitter almond extract
  • a handful of raisins previously soaked in orange blossom water

Beat all of these ingredients together and add


  • 500 g of flour.

Shape into 2 loaves. Preheat your oven to 200 °C. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 5 minutes. Remove the loaves, add a mixture of crushed pistachios and almonds on top. Lower your oven to 180 °C and bake the loaves for a further 30 minutes.
