Ingredients

  • 8 eggs
  • 160 g butter
  • 240 g sugar
  • 320 g dark baking chocolate
  • 1 tbsp flour (for Pessah, you can use matsa flour)

Melt the butter in the microwave. Add the chocolate and mix well until you obtain a very smooth mixture. Allow to cool. Using a spatula, fold in the egg yolks, then the sugar, then the flour. Whip the egg whites until stiff, and gently fold them into the first mixture. If you wish, you can add a handful of walnuts cut into small pieces. Pour into a greased 30 cm baking tin, or one lined with baking paper.

Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 35 minutes.
