Sweet Galettes

Mamie Sol's Desserts

Ingredients:

  • 6 eggs
  • 2 glasses of sugar (=250g)
  • 2 glasses of oil (=30cl)
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 2 packets of baking powder
  • a handful of anise seeds or sesame seeds
  • 1kg of flour

Mix the eggs, sugar, oil, vanilla, baking powder, anise and sesame together with a whisk. Add the flour. You will obtain a firm dough. Gradually roll out on a lightly floured work surface to a thickness of 1/2 cm. Prick the surface of the dough with a fork and cut out rectangles using a crimped pastry wheel, or make rounds using a glass.

Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Preheat your oven to 180°C and bake for approximately 30 minutes, keeping an eye on them.

NB: To make around twenty galettes, you can halve this recipe.
