Astrid's Tunisian Tomato Sauce

Other Starters
  • 150 g tomato paste
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt, pepper, sugar
  • 1 tea glass of oil
  • 300 cl of water

Fry the tomato paste, onions, garlic, salt and pepper together. When the onions are translucent and the oil turns red, add the remaining ingredients. 

Let the sauce cook down until jammy, then blend.

If, at the end of the meal, the children's mouths are rimmed with fluorescent orange, the recipe is a success.
