Honey Syrup
Mamie Sol's DessertsIngredients:
- 3 glasses of sugar
- 1 and a half glasses of water
- 1 lemon
- 1 jar of 300 g acacia honey
Place the sugar and water in a small saucepan, stir and heat over low heat. As soon as the sugar has fully dissolved, add the lemon juice. Allow to cook — it is ready when a drop of syrup placed on the work surface does not spread and beads up. Then add a 300 g jar of acacia honey.
This syrup is used to coat almond cigares, Brik with raisins and walnuts, fazuelos and other Oriental pastries.
